Gravel Traveler

from $2,300.00

The Gravel Traveler has now come to encompass a wide range of usage and functionality. in its latest incarnations it is truly the most versatile drop bar rig I make. What makes it so versatile you ask? Well, to start since all my bikes are custom I am able to optimize the design to your specific needs. More importantly, at its core this bike has a stable but still quick handling geometry, plenty of tire clearance (steel will clear a 700x45c easily, titanium 700x42c), and made from some of the best materials there are. So whether you need a bike to head out on a local gravel ride, hit your local cx race (though not a full cx rig, that’s the More Cowbell.) or want to find yourself lost in a maze of glorious dirt tracks I can build a Gravel Traveler that will suite your quiver killing needs.

For some time I ran 2 options for geo on this bike the traditional Gravel Traveler and a longer lower trail version the GTLT. Most folks have moved over to wanting max clearances, my designs have moved as well. So I have defaulted the design back to the original name Gravel Traveler. Since as noted everything is custom, we can sort out your specific goals and optimize your design for whatever clearances and geometry you need. It should be noted as standards evolve and what folks ask for changes, I have seen a trend for folks moving into my DropKicker zone for really big clearances for gravel. In my humble opinion if you want a bike that clears a 700x51c tire (most commonly called a 29x2.0” mountain bike tire.) then you want a drop bar mountain bike aka the aforementioned DropKicker.
